Visualizing Khorsabad Project produced a Virtual Reality app about the Assyrian citadel of Dur Sharrukin (present Khorsabad, Iraq) with the ideal twofold goal of virtually reunifying the original reliefs and statues spread among several museums, as well as to provide an architectural context for the museums’ collections. The app was developed in Unity and allows for a full immersive visualization of the citadel through Oculus Rift head mounted display.
